Jeremy Shada

Background and early work
Born on January 21, 1997, in Boise, Idaho, Shada started performing young, appearing in commercials and small roles before moving into television. Early credits include playing Young Charlie Pace in flashbacks on Lost and guest spots on shows like ER, Cold Case, and Nip/Tuck, which gave him on‑set experience across different genres. His path into Adventure Time is unusually circular: his older brother Zack voiced the character in the original pilot, and Jeremy landed the series role after deliberately matching that performance in auditions.
Animation and voice acting
As Finn, Shada recorded for Adventure Time from 2010 through the finale, then returned for Adventure Time: Distant Lands and Fionna and Cake, effectively becoming the character’s defining English‑language voice. He expanded his animation work with DreamWorks’ Voltron: Legendary Defender, voicing Lance across eight seasons, and later as lead character Tom Kullersen in Dragons: The Nine Realms.
Live action, games, and music
On the live‑action side, Shada starred as overachieving student‑politician Tyler Prendergast in Mr. Student Body President and as Reggie in Julie and the Phantoms, where the cast performs original songs as an in‑universe band. He has also lent his voice to video games, including MultiVersus (Finn the Human) and mobile titles tied to his animated work, further cementing him as a recognizable presence across media. Outside acting, he releases music and performs with his band, adding touring and recording to an already mixed creative career.
