Hayden Chemberlen’s Debut in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie

Landing a role in one of the highest-grossing animated franchises in children’s entertainment is no small feat – especially as a debut screen credit. Hayden Chemberlen steps into the PAW Patrol universe with the upcoming theatrical release PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, scheduled to hit theaters on August 14, 2026, through Paramount Pictures and Spin Master Entertainment. Chemberlen voices Rex, a paraplegic Bernese Mountain Dog who has spent years stranded on an uncharted island teeming with dinosaurs and serves as the central new character around whom much of the film’s adventure revolves.

Rex and the Dino Movie

Rex occupies a unique space in the PAW Patrol roster. A differently abled pup who navigates the world using a specialized wheelchair, Rex communicates with dinosaurs – a skill that makes him indispensable when Mayor Humdinger’s reckless mining operation on the island triggers a catastrophic volcanic eruption. Chemberlen brings the character to the big screen for the first time in a feature film setting, joining a cast that includes Jennifer Hudson, Terry Crews, Jameela Jamil, Snoop Dogg, McKenna Grace, and Fortune Feimster, all under the direction of returning filmmaker Cal Brunker.

Chemberlen is represented by District Model & Talent, and the Dino Movie marks his entry into major studio animation at the highest level of the PAW Patrol franchise the third theatrical entry in a series that has collectively earned over $350 million at the global box office across its first two films.
