Sophia

Sophia’s Story in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy
A child of the sea shaped by betrayal, Sophia is equal parts fighter and reckoning. She is agile and relentless in combat, wielding a sword and dagger with a brutality that sets her apart from the more cautious heroines of the earlier games. Yet the violence is never gratuitous; it mirrors the urgency of a young woman cornered on all sides, by a pursuing army, by ancient curses, and by questions about who she really is. Her connection to the Prima Macula’s history runs deeper than anyone around her suspects, and the dual-timeline structure of the game lets players feel exactly how the distant Minoan past reaches forward to shape her fate. She is sharp-tongued and fiercely self-reliant, yet her bond with Leni reveals the loyalty she guards beneath all that armor.
Who Voices Sophia in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy?
English actress Anna Demetriou brings Sophia to life across both voice and full motion capture, a role she also originated in A Plague Tale: Requiem (2022). LAMDA-trained and half-Greek herself, Demetriou was specifically cast through an audition process that sought Mediterranean actors for the role, a detail that gives her performance a grounded authenticity the studio was deliberate about. Beyond the Plague Tale series, she is also known for voicing Mirie in Baldur’s Gate 3 (2023) and Dorys in Final Fantasy XVI (2023).
