Overwatch Voice Actors: Full Cast Guide
At the heart of Overwatch are its heroes and the voices that bring them to life. Tracer, the time-jumping mascot of the series, is voiced by Cara Theobold, who you may recognize from Downton Abbey. Her upbeat, energetic delivery really sells Tracer’s optimistic “let’s go save the world” attitude.
The grizzled gunslinger McCree (later renamed Cole Cassidy) is voiced by Matt Mercer, a prolific voice actor known for roles like Levi in Attack on Titan and his work on Critical Role. His laid-back drawl gives the character that classic Western outlaw vibe.
You’ll hear Charlet Takahashi Chung as D.Va, the pro gamer–turned–mech pilot. She’s also appeared in shows like Carmen Sandiego, and her performance nails D.Va’s mix of cocky streamer energy and genuine heroism.
The cybernetic ninja Genji is voiced by Gaku Space, who’s worked on Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist. His calm, focused delivery contrasts nicely with the chaos of battle. On the flip side, the hulking tank Winston, a genetically engineered gorilla scientist, is played by Crispin Freeman, known from Hellsing and Naruto, giving the character both brains and warmth.
You’ll also hear Johnny Yong Bosch as the bow-wielding archer Hanzo, bringing the same intensity he’s known for in roles like Ichigo in Bleach. Soldier: 76, the gruff vigilante leader, is voiced by Fred Tatasciore, a veteran who’s played countless tough-guy roles, including various takes on the Hulk.
