Ninja Gaiden 4 is co-developed by Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, with producers Fumihiko Yasuda and directors Yuji Nakao and Masakazu Hirayama. The game introduces new protagonist Yakumo, a young ninja prodigy from the Raven clan whose destiny is intertwined with legendary series hero Ryu Hayabusa. Both characters are playable throughout the story. Set in a near-future Tokyo covered in miasma from an ancient curse, players battle cybernetic ninja soldiers and otherworldly creatures. Yakumo's signature ability is Bloodraven Form, a technique that manipulates blood to create massive weapons and unleash devastating Bloodbath Kill attacks. Ryu Hayabusa returns with classic moves like Izuna Drop and Flying Swallow. The game maintains the series' brutal difficulty with Master Ninja mode while offering customizable difficulty options for newcomers.
