It is a new version of the 1999 video game Crash Team Racing, originally developed by the Naughty Dog studio for the PlayStation, also adding content from its sequels (Crash Nitro Kart; originally developed by Vicarious Visions, and Crash Tag Team Racing; developed by Radical Entertainment, both for multiple platforms) in addition to new content that was added over 8 months since its launch. The video game was released on June 20, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
