Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, It's this stunning blend of turn-based combat and real-time action that feels refreshingly different from what we're used to seeing in the RPG space. Set in a world where the Paintress appears each year to erase everyone of a certain age, the game follows Expedition 33 as they race against time to stop her before she wipes out all the 33-year-olds. The Belle Époque-inspired aesthetic is absolutely gorgeous, mixing French art nouveau with fantasy elements that make every scene feel like a painting come to life.

The Voices Behind the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Characters :

The cast brings some serious talent to the table. Charlie Cox (yes, Daredevil himself) voices Gustave, the expedition’s determined leader who’s fighting not just for survival but for everyone he’s lost. Jennifer English, who many know from Baldur’s Gate 3, plays Maelle, a fierce warrior with her own reasons for joining the fight.

Andy Serkis lends his voice to Renoir, bringing that gravitas he’s known for to this mysterious figure. Ben Starr, fresh off Final Fantasy XVI, voices Lune, while Shala Nyx plays Sciel with the kind of edge that makes you want to know more about her backstory.

Kirsty Rider rounds out the main cast as Verso, adding another layer to this ensemble of characters, each carrying their own weight in the story. The voice work genuinely elevates the whole experience, making these characters feel real and their struggles hit harder.
