Miss Roth’s Story Role

Introduced as a temporary ally, Roth works alongside a young James Bond to track down the rogue agent 009, sharing high-society gala scenes and tense chase sequences along the way. Her alliance with Bond, however, is built on sand: she ultimately betrays him inside Sir Nicholas Webb’s Antarctic research facility, attempting to flee with the HYPERION core before Bond catches up with her. In a twist that layers complexity onto her character, she dives back into the water to save Bond’s life near the end of the game, before vanishing with the THEIA core on behalf of an unnamed foreign client.

French-Japanese actress Noémie Nakai provides both the voice and motion-capture likeness for Miss Roth. Born in Tokyo on December 2, 1990, Nakai is perhaps best known internationally for playing Luna, an Onyx club hostess, across seven episodes of the HBO Max crime drama Tokyo Vice (2022-2024). She also appeared in Zack Snyder’s heist thriller Army of Thieves (2021) as Beatrix, and lent her voice to the racing game GRID Legends (2022) as Drift Announcer.
