Peni Parker

Peni Parker’s Role and Combat Style
A Japanese-American student from Earth-14512, Peni inherited the SP//dr suit from her father and has piloted it ever since. The suit is not just hardware: it runs on a psychic bond, making Peni and her mech an extension of each other rather than a pilot and a machine. In MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, that bond translates into a zoning-heavy fighting style built around random drone summons, wall-cling mobility, and a steady stream of gadgets. Despite SP//dr’s big-body classification, players at EVO Japan 2026 quickly discovered that Peni punishes overextension from a distance rather than slugging it out up close. She also slips into Japanese mid-battle, a detail Arc System Works carried across every language version of the game. Alongside Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, and Star-Lord, she joins the Amazing Guardians to face a high-stakes intergalactic tournament organized by Xirena Awhina, an Elder of the Universe whose motives are anything but straightforward.
