007 First Light (2026) Voice Actors & Cast – Who’s Playing Bond and the Legendary MI6 Team?

IO Interactive is bringing James Bond back to gaming, and honestly? They’re not messing around with the cast. The team behind Hitman has assembled a pretty stacked lineup of voice actors for 007 First Light, mixing fresh faces with some seriously talented performers. If you’ve been curious about who’s voicing your favorite MI6 agents (and Bond himself), let’s break down the full cast.

The Main Players: Bond and His MI6 Crew

Patrick Gibson voices James Bond

Playing the legendary 007 himself is Patrick Gibson, and this marks his video game debut. Which is wild when you think about it no pressure, right? The Irish actor is probably best known right now for playing young Dexter Morgan in Dexter: Original Sin, but he’s been building an impressive resume for years. You might recognize him from Netflix’s Shadow and Bone where he had a major role, or The OA on Netflix. Before that, he even had a small part in The Tudors way back when he was starting out.

Fun fact: Gibson actually left Trinity College Dublin halfway through his philosophy degree to pursue acting full-time. That gamble seems to have paid off ,he won the Rising Star award at the Irish Film and Television Awards back in 2017. His film credits include the J.R.R. Tolkien biopic where he starred alongside Nicholas Hoult, plus The Darkest Minds and In a Relationship.

At 26 years old in the game, Gibson’s Bond is portrayed as young, resourceful, and sometimes reckless, basically the rookie version of 007 we’ve never really seen before in gaming. And since IO Interactive isn’t using any previous Bond actor’s likeness, this is genuinely their own take on the character.

Priyanga Burford voices M

M gets voiced by Priyanga Burford, who’s no stranger to the Bond universe. She actually appeared in No Time to Die as Dr. Symes (a small MI6 scientist role), but now she’s got a way bigger part as the head of MI6 herself. Burford’s been crushing it on British television for years, she had major roles in The Thick of It, Industry, and Press. Plus she was in that wild Channel 4 mockumentary UKIP: The First 100 Days back in 2015.

Her stage work is legit too. She performed in the premiere production of Consent at the Royal National Theatre and appeared in King Charles III both on stage and in the TV adaptation. Pretty impressive range if you ask me.

Alastair Mackenzie voices Q

Your gadget master Q is brought to life by Alastair Mackenzie. Mackenzie’s one of those actors with tons of credits you might not immediately recognize, he was in Andor (yeah, the Star Wars show everyone loved), plus he’s appeared in shows like Casualty and Monarch of the Glen. On the film side, he’s been in stuff like Chariots of Fire and has done extensive work in British television.

Honestly curious to see how his Q compares to Ben Whishaw’s version from the recent films, especially since Mackenzie’s considerably older than Gibson’s Bond, which is a nice reversal from the last few movies.

Kiera Lester is Miss Moneypenny

Kiera Lester voices Miss Moneypenny, and she’s a relative newcomer to the scene. Her TV credits include Sister Boniface Mysteries, Wreck, Ruby Speaking, Grace, and Death in Paradise. This role as Moneypenny in 007 First Light is easily one of her biggest parts to date, which makes it pretty exciting to see what she brings to such an iconic character.

The New Faces: Original Characters

Lennie James voices John Greenway

Greenway voiced by Lennie James in 007 First Light (2026)

Lennie James plays Bond’s mentor John Greenway, and if that voice sounds familiar, there’s a good reason. James is basically legendary at this point, he played Morgan Jones across both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead for years. He also won a BAFTA for Best Actor in 2025 for his role in Mr Loverman.

But here’s the thing gamers will love: James has been voicing Lord Shaxx in Destiny since 2014. You know, the guy who hypes you up during Crucible matches? That’s him. And apparently his favorite line in the game is straight from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet: “But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and I–I am the Crucible.” Talk about range.

His film credits are stacked too, Snatch with Brad Pitt, Blade Runner 2049, Colombiana, Sahara. Plus animated work in Invincible and Peter Rabbit 2. James is one of those actors who just elevates everything he’s in.

Noémie Nakai is Miss Roth

Noemie Nakai, portraying Isola Miss Roth

Miss Roth gets voiced by Noémie Nakai, who’s described as the femme fatale Bond girl of the game. Nakai’s most prominent role was in HBO Max’s Tokyo Vice, and she’s also appeared in Army of Thieves, Never Let Me Go, and even Death Note: New Generation. This is her first major video game role, and she’s providing both voice and likeness for the character. Pretty solid choice for a DGSE agent (that’s French intelligence, btw).

Gemma Chan voices Dr. Selina Tan

Now this is interesting, Gemma Chan was announced separately at Tokyo Game Show 2025, voicing Dr. Selina Tan. Chan’s a big deal, known for Crazy Rich Asians, Captain Marvel (as Minn-Erva), and Eternals (as Sersi). She’s also in Transformers: The Last Knight and a bunch of other major films.

Dr. Selina Tan is MI6’s Head of Tactical Simulation, an original character created specifically for First Light. She oversees a cutting-edge program that tests MI6’s most promising recruits, and her background is in psychology, strategy, and immersive technologies. Sounds like she’ll play a critical role in Bond’s journey.

Oh, and this isn’t Chan’s first video game rodeo—she voiced Erys the vampire hunter in Diablo IV’s Season of Blood back in 2023. For this project though, she’s lending both her voice AND likeness, which IO Interactive emphasized is important for creating that cinematic experience they’re going for.

IO Interactive isn’t just throwing big names at the project, they’re genuinely trying to create something special here. Unlike previous Bond games that used the film actors’ likenesses, First Light is building its own mythology from scratch. This is meant to be the start of a potential trilogy, giving players a Bond they can “call their own and grow with,” according to IO’s CEO.
