She began her career as a seiyū in 1998. She has been featured as Tsundere protagonists such as Taiga Aisaka in Toradora! (for which she won the Best Actress award at the Seiyū Awards), Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière in The Familiar of Zero and Shana in Shakugan no Shana. Her versatility has allowed her to interpret other types of characters with equal mastery, including Happy in Fairy Tail, Ronnie Anne Santiago in the Japanese-dubbed Version of The Loud House, Nagi Sanzenin in Hayate the Combat Butler, Keenan Crier in Digimon Data Squad, Alphonse Elric and Catherine Elle Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, among many others.
