Noshir Dalal – Voice Actor Profile & Notable Roles

Noshir Dalal - Voice Actor
Birth Date: 15/08/1978
Noshir Dalal (born August 15, 1978 in Rochester, New York, USA) is an American actor and voice actor. known for voicing Junbei in Ghost of Yōtei, voice of Rain in Mortal Kombat 1, the English dub voice of Sekiro in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Daisuke.

His breakout role was Charles Smith in Red Dead Redemption 2 – you know, that super cool tracker guy in Dutch’s gang who’s actually competent and not completely unhinged? Yeah that’s Dalal doing full performance capture. And if you played RDR2 you know Charles is one of the best characters in that game, no contest.

But wait there’s more lol. He also voiced Sekiro in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. THE Sekiro. The game that kicked everyone’s ass in 2019 and won Game of the Year. So yeah, pretty big deal.

And it just keeps going – he’s Bode in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (no spoilers but… that character arc hits different), he voices Spider-Man/Peter Parker in the recent Spider-Man 2 game, Kotallo in Horizon Forbidden West (the one-armed Tenakth warrior who’s absolutely awesome), Rain in Mortal Kombat 1, and Gabe Diaz in Gears 5.

Oh and he’s Yone in League of Legends which is wild because that community is HUGE and super passionate about their characters. He also does Admiral Rampart in Star Wars: The Bad Batch animated series.

He’s done a bunch of TV work including S.W.A.T. and various animated shows. He’s also been on Critical Role doing their Candela Obscura thing and some specials which… if you’re into actual play content you know that’s basically like the highest honor you can get in that space.

The guy’s range is pretty insane when you think about it. He can do the gruff, serious warrior type (Charles, Sekiro, Kotallo) but also more nuanced emotional stuff (Spider-Man, Bode).

Anyway if you see his name pop up in credits for a new game, it’s probably gonna be worth paying attention to. He’s become one of those voice actors where you just know the character is gonna be well-acted and memorable. Not bad for a guy who spent his twenties doing off-Broadway plays in NYC right?
