She is an actress, known for Elfen Lied (2004), Martian Successor Nadesico (1996) and RahXephon (2002).Originally auditioned for the role of Priss Asagiri for the English version of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, but voice director Matt Greenfield thought she sounded "too young" and cast Christine M. Auten in the role of Priss. Kira was then cast as the young Sylia/young Galatea instead.
