Jonathan Forbes

Jonathan Forbes is an Irish actor and voice artist born on 4 December 1976 in Dublin. He trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, graduating in 2001 as a BBC Carleton Hobbes Award winner. In games, he voiced Sean Hampton, Dyson, and Oswald in Vampyr (2018), Dontnod's atmospheric RPG set in plague-ridden London, and Hakon in Dying Light 2 Stay Human (2022), one of the bigger open-world releases of that year. In 2024 he voiced the Hornsent in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware's critically acclaimed expansion that set records as one of the most anticipated DLCs ever released. Most recently, in 2026 he joined the cast of Crimson Desert, voicing Shakatu in the highly anticipated open-world action RPG from Pearl Abyss.
