Janet Borrus – Voice Actor Profile & Notable Roles

Janet has enjoyed a multi-faceted career that includes acting, screenwriting and teaching high school theatre. Happily, she's found that the green room, the classroom and the writer's room have plenty in common, and feels lucky to have spent time in all three. She has guest-starred on top shows such as "Pretty Little Liars," shared the screen with Laurence Fishburne in the popular classic "Akeelah and the Bee," and can be seen soon in the Apple series "Government Cheese" and comedy feature "Omi." Onstage, Janet starred in works by leading playwrights on both coasts, and her solo show "The Ramona Roses" toured the country and earned the review "exuberant and hilarious" from Daily Variety. A busy voice talent as well, you can hear her in animated series, commercials and audio books. Janet is a graduate of Oberlin College and the Drama Studio in London, the happy wife of actor Christopher Grove and the proud mom of a classical violinist.
