Feodor Chin – Voice Actor Profile & Notable Roles

Feodor Chin - Voice Actor
Feodor Chin (born August 18, 1974) is an American actor and voice actor who's been working in the industry for... honestly I lost count of how many years. But the dude's been everywhere - video games, anime, cartoons, live action stuff, you name it.Feodor Chin is the voice of Saito in Ghost of Yōtei,Zenyatta in Overwatch.

The Gaming Hits :
So where do I even start with this guy’s video game work? He’s done SO much. Like he was Zenyatta in Overwatch which is probably what a lot of people know him from – that super chill omnic monk robot who’s always dropping wisdom. “Experience tranquility” and all that.
He’s also been in a ton of other major franchises:

Multiple Call of Duty games (because who hasn’t been in CoD at this point lol)
Dying Light series
Deus Ex games
He was in Cyberpunk 2077
Mortal Kombat stuff
Final Fantasy XIV
Even frickin Fallout 4

Oh and he voiced Mulan’s father Fa Zhou in that Kingdom Hearts III DLC which is kind of a full circle moment since he’s done so much Disney work over the years. Actually wait – he was ALSO the Emperor in the Mulan game tie-in stuff back in the day. So he’s been with that franchise for a while.
Animation & Anime Work
This is where it gets a bit overwhelming because the list is genuinely massive. He’s done voices for:

Avatar: The Last Airbender (multiple characters)
Star Wars Rebels and other Star Wars animated stuff
He was Ryu in Street Fighter IV and some other SF projects
Tons of anime dubs – like we’re talking dozens and dozens of shows
He’s been in basically every major animation studio’s projects at some point

Live Action Stuff Too
Unlike some voice actors who stay behind the mic, Chin’s also done on-screen work. He’s appeared in shows like NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, and a bunch of other TV series. So he’s got that range where he can do both voice and on-camera work which is pretty cool.
The Interesting Thing About His Career
What’s interesting about Feodor Chin compared to some of the newer voice actors is that he kind of came up through the anime dubbing world and then transitioned heavily into games and western animation. A lot of the younger VAs today started with games or web content, but Chin’s got that old school anime dub background which I think gives him a different approach to characters?
Like you can tell when you’re listening to him that he’s got tons of experience with really varied character types. He can do the wise mentor figure, the villain, the everyman character, whatever. That versatility is probably why he keeps getting work across so many different projects.
Random Trivia
He’s also done commercial voice over work which… not the most glamorous but hey it pays the bills between the cool game gigs right? And apparently he’s done a lot of educational and corporate narration too. Gotta respect the hustle.
Anyway yeah if you’re looking through game credits and see Feodor Chin’s name, you’re probably in for a solid performance. He’s one of those reliable veteran voice actors who just consistently delivers good work even if he’s not always playing the main character. Sometimes the supporting cast needs that kind of steady presence you know?
