Fahkumram

Video Game: Tekken 8

Born in Thailand and struck by lightning as a child, Fahkumram grews into one of the most imposing and feared Muay Thai warriors in the world, standing over 200 cm (6'7") tall, his body marked by scars and a lightning-shaped brand that became his legend.

Fahkumram’s Story and Motivations

At the peak of his career, Fahkumram refused a corrupt Thai military order to throw a fight, a decision that cost him everything. The military took his wife and daughter hostage, forcing him to become their weapon in the King of Iron Fist Tournament with orders to destroy the Mishima Zaibatsu. In Tekken 8, a deeper betrayal surfaces: the Thai military leadership secretly allied with the Mishima Zaibatsu, accepted bribes, and replaced him as representative with Kuma, all while keeping his family’s fate tied to the duration of the conflict. Enraged, Fahkumram breaks free from his handler’s grip, swearing to become the incarnation of the divine Garuda to reclaim the only thing that matters: his family’s freedom.

Fahkumram’s Fighting Style

Pure Muay Thai runs through every strike in his arsenal, but Fahkumram fights with the fury of a man who has nothing left to lose. His enormous frame gives his elbow strikes, knee drives, and axe kicks a bone-shattering weight that few opponents can absorb. His Tekken 8 DLC return adds lightning-infused attacks that echo the childhood strike that shaped his destiny, making him one of the most visually distinct and brutally powerful characters in the roster.

Who Voices Fahkumram in Tekken 8?

Fahkumram speaks Thai in battle, and Thai voice actor Aphichat Samutsiri has held the role since Fahkumram’s debut in Tekken 7’s Season 3 DLC in 2020. Samutsiri is a well-known figure in Thai dubbing circles, recognized for voicing characters like Toki in Hokuto no Ken, Megatron in Transformers Prime, and the Thai dub of Disney’s Black Panther. Fahkumram has no English voice actor, as the character exclusively speaks Thai, one of several Tekken fighters whose dialogue reflects their real-world nationality.
