Resident Evil Requiem Voice Cast: Who Plays Leon, Grace, and the Rest?

Man, Resident Evil Requiem is finally out, and it’s legit terrifying. Capcom dropped the ninth mainline game on February 27, 2026, across pretty much everything: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and even the new Nintendo Switch 2. And it’s already consuming my life. You really can’t pull off a survival horror story like this without a killer cast of voice actors to sell the panic. I mean, trying to run from infected in the dark, abandoned Wrenwood Hotel is one thing. But hearing the sheer terror in the characters’ voices? Next level.

Whether you’re trying to figure out who plays the new girl Grace, or just wondering if that’s the same Leon we all know and love, I’ve got you covered.

Let’s break down who’s who in the Raccoon City ruins (because we all know Raccoon City is never actually left in the past). Just to keep things focused, I’m mostly sticking to the main players here.

The Main Duo: A Tale of Two Perspectives

Capcom did something pretty wild this time around. They split the game into two different perspectives. Grace’s sections are in first-person for that tense, classic survival horror feel, while Leon’s are in third-person for the action junkies. But who’s actually voicing them?

Leon S. Kennedy: Nick Apostolides

Playing Leon this time around is none other than Nick Apostolides. If you’ve played any RE game lately, you definitely know this guy. He’s been the voice and motion capture actor for Leon in the RE2 and RE4 remakes, plus that Netflix Infinite Darkness show. Which is huge.

It honestly feels weird hearing anyone else as Leon at this point, if you ask me. Apostolides just nails that exhausted, veteran agent vibe perfectly. Leon is back as a DSO agent, and this time he’s racing against the clock because he’s dealing with his own T-Virus infection. The dude cannot catch a break. (Fun fact: Leon looks noticeably older in this game, which makes sense since his last major mainline appearance was RE6 way back in 2012).

Grace Ashcroft: Angela Sant’Albano

Grace comes to life through Angela Sant’Albano. If you’re wondering why Grace’s last name sounds familiar, she’s actually an FBI intelligence analyst and the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft. Yeah, the reporter from Resident Evil Outbreak!

Sant’Albano absolutely crushes it. This is a massive role to step into, especially when you’re acting opposite a legacy character like Leon. She completely nails the terrified-but-determined FBI analyst thing. Her character gets stalked for years before ultimately being abducted by an ex-Umbrella scientist, which is just a normal Tuesday in the Resident Evil universe. Talk about a crazy transition to running from mutants in a creepy hotel.

Returning Veterans and Nefarious Villains

Okay, so Leon isn’t the only familiar face. The supporting cast is pretty stacked, no joke.

Sherry Birkin: Eden Riegel

Look who’s back! Your favorite grown-up Raccoon City survivor is voiced by Eden Riegel. She and Leon are investigating a mysterious string of deaths together because they’re both exhibiting late-onset T-Virus symptoms. Riegel has a super long list of credits, and it’s so good to hear her reprising a role that fits so perfectly into the lore. Seeing Sherry and Leon back in the same game is pretty epic.

Alyssa Ashcroft: Jane Perry

For Grace’s mom, they got Jane Perry. You 100% know her voice if you play a lot of games. She literally won awards for playing Selene in Returnal. Plus she’s Diana Burnwood in the Hitman series. Having her voice an OG Outbreak character like Alyssa is pretty impressive. Alyssa was killed at the Wrenwood Hotel eight years before the events of Requiem, which is why Grace is investigating the place to begin with. So while she might not be roundhouse-kicking zombies in the present day, Perry’s performance still leaves a massive impact on the story.

Victor Gideon: Antony Byrne

You’ll hear Antony Byrne taking on the role of Victor Gideon. He’s our big bad ex-Umbrella scientist this time around. Byrne has done a bunch of stage acting and TV stuff, and he definitely brings that creepy, calculating villain energy that Resident Evil villains are famous for. Gideon is the one who abducts Grace, setting the whole nightmare into motion.

Zeno: Craig Burnatowski

Okay, we have to talk about Zeno. Zeno is brought to life by Craig Burnatowski. If you’ve played the game, you already know Zeno is basically an Albert Wesker clone. I mean, he has the slicked-back hair, the cool shades, the super speed, and he loves using handguns. Fans are speculating that “The Connections” (the shady group from RE7) created him using Wesker’s genetic material. Burnatowski gives Zeno that arrogant, God-complex swagger that makes you want to punch him in the face. But you can’t, because he’ll literally just dodge your bullets.

Interestingly enough, Gideon actually tricks Zeno into injecting himself with a universal antiviral called Elpis. It completely neutralizes his viral enhancements and totally backfires on him. Which is wild. Burnatowski’s vocal performance during Zeno’s downfall is totally top-tier.

The Rest of the Roster

Grouping these next few together because there are some other important voices filling out the game’s terrifying world.

  • Emily & Chloe: Both characters are voiced by Emma Rose Creaner. Having one voice actor pull double duty is pretty common in the industry, but Creaner gives each character a distinct feel.
  • The Girl: Voiced by Weronika Maria and Elishia Edwards. This mysterious character is central to the plot, and the vocal delivery really adds to the creepy, unsettling vibe of the game.

Honestly, the rest of the cast is filled with some incredibly solid talent too. Capcom has been on an absolute roll with their RE Engine games, and Requiem is no exception. They actually scrapped an open-world multiplayer concept back in 2021 just to make sure they delivered the single-player horror experience fans actually wanted. And honestly? Thank God they did.

The performances are grounded, emotional, and fit perfectly with the game’s insane physics-defying motorcycle chases and roundhouse kicks. It’s a pretty stacked lineup, if you ask me.
