Yajirobe

Yajirobe’s Story Role
Players first encounter him at Korin Tower during the stretch where Piccolo comes looking for senzu beans ahead of the fight against the Red Ribbon Army. When Piccolo later seeks him out for a sparring match during the pre-Saiyan training arc, Yajirobe bolts instead of raising his sword, leaving the player to track him down using Ki Sense across the map. A separate side quest has him sending Goku out to fish for Scarlet Catfish and Goliath Catfish on Korin’s behalf, trading the role of fighter for errand boy without much complaint. Swordsmanship and a stubborn streak are there if pushed, but avoiding a fight remains his first instinct every time.
Who Voices Yajirobe in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot?
Mike McFarland reprises the English-language role, a part he has held since Funimation’s original Dragon Ball Z dub. McFarland is also recognized for voicing Master Roshi across the Dragon Ball franchise and Buggy the Clown in One Piece. Mayumi Tanaka provides the Japanese performance, the same actress who has voiced Yajirobe and Krillin since the original Dragon Ball series and who is internationally known as the voice of Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece.
