Mion

Mion is the unsettling face of the entire operation the woman who cheerfully announces to a roomful of confused, recently-dead people that they are now test subjects with no identity in the outside world. She’s terrifying precisely because she’s so calm about it. Mayumi Shintani voices her in Japanese, lending the character a breezy menace that makes every scene she appears in feel unpredictable. Shintani is best known as Nonon Jakuzure in Kill la Kill, another role that required her to sound simultaneously delightful and dangerous.
